Daniela Mead has over 12 years of experience working in the nonprofit sector and is deeply committed to the organizations she serves. Before starting Vive Consulting™, Daniela worked as a Consultant at Blackbaud®, the leader in software solutions for the nonprofit industry. While at Blackbaud, Daniela assisted nonprofits of all sizes with assessing technology and operational needs, designing business processes, and implementing successful system-wide solutions. Prior to joining Blackbaud, Daniela was the Manager of Federated Funding at the American Red Cross of Southeastern Pennsylvania, where she was responsible for raising funds from institutional donors, managing development operations systems, training colleagues, measuring performance, and improving business practices.
In addition to her work at Vive Consulting, Daniela volunteers as a Peer Reviewer for the Standards for Excellence through the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations. She is also a former board member of Equality Advocates Pennsylvania and Mountain Meadow. During her tenure on the Equality Advocates Board of Directors, Daniela served on the Human Resources and Fundraising Committees. Daniela also assisted Equality Advocates with an executive transition by participating on a Hiring Committee and by developing and executing communication strategies and operational improvements.
Daniela has a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Delaware with a focus on Organizational Theory and Nonprofit Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Smith College. She earned the Certified Fund Raising Executive credential (CFRE) from the professional accrediting body CFRE International in 2004, recertified in 2009, and is currently an ACFRE candidate. Daniela is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Daniela is also a registered yoga teacher and an avid practitioner of Anusara® yoga. In her spare time, Daniela loves to travel and cook.
